I noticed the big sky tends to sound more full in the lowmid - mid range.

Orange wins on the clean but the distortion is horrible in the dirty channel. I feel like the terror version has very harsh attack even compared to the other orange amps.

The sounds and music appealed to me, sexually speaking.

I love orange amps so much…that being said I owned a rockerverb 100 mk3 and I never connected with it. Nothing I did made the amp sound “good”. I may of had a lemon but when I had the rockerverb it DID NOT TAKE PEDALS WELL AT ALL! Including OD. The best settings I had that it stayed at pretty much the entire time I had it was treble at 3 o clock and bass at 4 o clock and scooped mids. I put brand new tubes in it and everything cause I started to get frustrated with it. Nothing “fixed” it. I’m looking at getting a OR100 as I was a huge fan when I had a OR15. And yes I ran everything through an orange cab. (Which is my favorite cab of them all, if an amp doesn’t sound good through it I sell it)

Great video! But the Smallbox ch.1 clean settings appear to be incorrect. The picture shows Vol. 7 and Gain 8, yet it sounds totally clean. Hmm...

You have to scoop the mids on the Mesa. Otherwise, its not a fair comparison.

I was waiting for the final thoughts but was none ...anyway the fender sounded 1 dimensional loose and harsh in a cheap way so suhr wins by default

I have a "Rectoverb 50," and I love the monstrous tones of both channels, and each setting. But I find the vintage setting if the lead channel a bit easier on the ears. I just like that darker tone. But feel free to experiment with all the diverse sounds you can get out of it.

The SG to me “fills” my ears more and is generally a more satisfying sound, with the JM having a lighter sound that perhaps has a little more air and space and therefore has some subtle complexities. Completely subjective, yes, like comparing two equivalent wines. Just buy ‘em both.

Why did the MD500 stay on Vibrato setting the whole time, whilst the Terraform was switched between modes? I was a little confused

Can I plug an active bass on it?

Freidman are a modification of Marshall, and Marshall are a modification of Fender. In this comparo, the BB45 sounds like someone removed a pack of paper napkins that was covering the speaker when the Friedman was being played. Why did you increase/add that much Bass with the BB45 recording? I can hear that it was a bit too much in some of the BB recordings.

Friedman is tighter and clearer than the other two amps ! Friedman wins, however for metal the EVH sounds raunchier !

You totally hosed the comparison on the guitar amp with distortion because you did the M3 as a room mic, rather than on the cab like you did with the 57, which made almost zero sense.

Around the 1:27 mark, it sounds like there is some sort of bit crushing effect on the boss. Was that intentional, or is there aliasing in the chorus algorithm?

Does anyone know how to turn the Marshall Origin on and off correctly? I ask because it does not have a Stand By button or knob but it is still a valve device and the user manual does not say anything about it. How do you use it to protect the valves? Thanks, I'm new to this amp.

I own an Alt T and a Fender Tele Deluxe . The Fender is still my go to guitar . Just personal preference and no one can tell you what you like .

The attinuator makes is so you can adjust how hard the amp is running and volume seperatley? more to the point can i play either of these amps while someone is watching tv or sleeping?
